Every newly hired associate is introduced to the firm by means of an orientation program conducted by an experienced associate who then becomes responsible for ensuring the new member's smooth adjustment and for providing continuous support and guidance in all professional matters. In each specific transaction, junior associates work closely with the supervising partner thus gaining valuable knowledge and experience. The development of their technical and professional skills and their team-work awareness is further advanced by their participation in complex and challenging transactions involving different practice areas. Associates are strongly encouraged to share the responsibility and participate in the decision making process while they frequently have the opportunity to meet and communicate with clients, thus acquiring a better understanding of each deal.

Training of associates is enhanced by technology: the easy and quick access to the extensive know-how system of the firm developed in previous transactions as well as to a constantly renewed bibliography and to all major Greek and international legal periodicals is to a large extent computerised. A formal training program consisting of in-house seminars and presentations by other members, as well as the participation to external seminars and conferences is designed to supplement their continuing education. Associates also get the opportunity to develop their academic experience by writing articles which are published in acclaimed Greek and international publications.

Associates are prompted to advance their careers and to move quickly towards becoming partners. Their capabilities and motivation are recognised through an objective assessment system designed to reward their efforts. All this happens in an environment which is partly influenced by their own decisions.

Associates participate and develop initiative in the every day decisions that influence their life at work by being regularly informed and by participating actively in weekly meetings between all members of the firm.
