2025 was a year of momentum for our firm. In a world marked by geopolitical realignment, technological acceleration and regulatory complexity, we delivered a 10% growth in turnover, our strongest in recent years, driven by a significant expansion of our dispute resolution practice, the breadth of our advisory work and the continued trust of an international client base, alongside Greece’s leading companies.
A defining feature of the year was the considerable increase in our litigation and arbitration practice, with 10 arbitration cases and arbitration-related litigation matters involving aggregate claims of €640 million. At the same time, we expanded into new areas of strategic importance: defence, education and foreign direct investment screening, each reflecting broader shifts in the Greek and European regulatory landscape.
We promoted three new partners from within our ranks, along with our Chief Performance Officer in a special advisory role to the Executive Committee, strengthening our capacity to make informed, holistic decisions that go well beyond financial data. In total, 12 colleagues advanced to new roles this year, a testament to the depth of talent within our organisation.
This was also a milestone year for technology. Following a year-long evaluation and pilot phase, we completed a firm-wide rollout of legal AI tools across all teams and practices. Yerassimos Yannopoulos, co-managing partner, reflects on AI and professional responsibility in the pages that follow, while our head of AI & Data, Theodore Konstantakopoulos offers a compelling reminder that the future of AI still looks surprisingly human. In parallel, we completed the first full year of operation of our new ERP system; an effort that has fundamentally transformed our operating backbone.
In the following pages, our partners share their insights on the drivers and trends shaping their respective practices. We are also grateful to Professor Georgios Varouxakis of Queen Mary, University of London, for his thought-provoking contribution on "the West". At a time when the rule of law, democratic principles, human rights and pluralism can no longer be taken for granted even within western societies, his reflection is a quiet reminder that these values deserve not only our attention but our vigilance as citizens and, perhaps especially, as advisors.
Our commitment to the community remained steadfast. Through more than 600 pro bono hours, 18 volunteer activities and the continued growth of our Breakfast Club initiative, we translated our principles into action.
As always, we are deeply grateful to our clients for their trust and to our team of 234 lawyers, economists and other professionals for earning that trust every day. Looking ahead, in an era where responsibility and professional judgement matter more than ever, we remain committed to leading through excellence, innovation and purpose.
