Eleni Skoufari, partner with our Dispute Resolution practice, was featured as speaker at the DIS Arbitration Rules (Pre)Launch event which took place in Thessaloniki on December 6th. Eleni discussed the complexities added to the arbitration proceedings as a result of GDPR and the associated risks related to its application, and went further to propose how the flexibility of arbitration may efficiently factor in GDPR in the proceedings.
Adam Iliou, associate, participated in a panel discussion on blockchain technology and along with the panelists and moderator sought to show the interplay between international arbitration and blockchain technology.
The event was organized by the German Arbitration Institute and was joined by arbitrators and practitioners from Greece and abroad.
