Law 5094/2024 introduces a regulatory framework for the licensing of private universities in Greece. Under this new framework, private institutions may operate as University Education Legal Entities functioning as branches of foreign universities and will be accredited to provide higher education degrees that are academically equivalent to those conferred by Greek public universities.
