Full Biography

Argyrios is a member of our Antitrust & Competition practice. He has extensive experience on a wide range of advisory, investigative and transactional competition and regulatory matters, including cross-border merger control, antitrust, State aid, foreign subsidies and foreign direct investment screening. He advises corporates and private equity clients across diverse sectors, including aviation, digital markets, chemicals, construction, consumer goods, energy, finance, pharmaceuticals, sports, technology and telecommunications.

Prior to joining Zepos & Yannopoulos, Argyrios worked for a number of years as a competition lawyer in international law firms in London and Brussels. Before that, he completed traineeships at the European Commission (DG COMP, State aid – financial institutions) and the World Trade Organization.

Argyrios is formally trained as a lawyer and an economist. He is dually qualified in Greece (Court of Appeals) and England and Wales (Solicitor of the Senior Courts). He joined our firm in 2025.
