As “automatic termination” during the probationary period is now formally embedded in Greek labour law, key questions arise regarding its legal framework and the protections available to employees. The designation of termination as “automatic” raises interpretative challenges, particularly regarding the employer’s assessment and the absence of an express obligation to notify the employee.
