Our Corporate & Compliance team participated recently in the public discussion of the draft law of the Ministry of Development and Investments on the “Incorporation of Companies through the One Stop Shop Service (ΥΜΣ) and on the maintenance of the General Commercial Registry (GEMI)”.
The draft law aims at transposing into Greek law Chapter III of Directive (EU) 2017/1132, as amended by Directive (EU) 2019/1151 of the European Parliament and of the Council dated 20 June 2019 as regards the use of digital tools and processes in company law. The draft law was submitted to the Greek Parliament on March 30 and is expected to be enacted within the following days.
