We keep strengthening our Energy practice group and we are seeking to recruit a senior associate lawyer to join our team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will have the opportunity to work with a group of lawyers of various levels of experience and you will participate in the practice areas covered by the groups, on Energy Regulation & Energy M&A. Focusing on the energy sector, the team covers the full range of regulatory, corporate and M&A law aspects, dealing with acquisitions and joint ventures, transactional or advisory matters, corporate restructurings, corporate finance, privatizations, while aiming to the provision of customized, industry specific and business friendly services. Additionally, the team advises legal entities active in the energy industry and guides them through the intricacies of the Greek business and regulatory environment.

You will be exposed in significant energy transactions and projects developed by leading international and domestic clients in close collaboration with the head of the group.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 8+ years of proven experience in M&A transactions;
  • Expertise in energy law. Post graduate degree in Energy (LLM or equivalent) will be considered an asset;
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills;
  • Qualified to practice law in Greece.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Ability to work autonomously and interact independently with the client and the project teams;
  • Good understanding of clients’ business and needs;                                              
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Able to form successful client relationships by demonstrating genuine interest for client’s needs by being available, maintaining a regular communication;
  • Highly motivated and dynamic professional that inspires and motivates team members;
  • Friendly personality, with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work efficiently and effectively not only within a team but with all hierarchical levels in the organisation;
  • Native Greek speaker with excellent command of the English language (oral and written);
  • Excellent level of computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Personality with high morale and integrity.
