Full Biography
Elina heads the firm’s Private Wealth practice and is a member of the firm’s executive committee.
With more than 20 years at Zepos & Yannopoulos and a background in corporate and international tax, Elina advises international families, family offices, founders, entrepreneurs and internationally mobile individuals on complex cross-border private wealth matters. Her work focuses on the strategic organisation and stewardship of wealth, including wealth structuring, succession and governance, relocation and mobility, investment structures and the interaction between personal, family and business assets.
Elina is particularly valued for her ability to coordinate multidisciplinary matters involving multiple jurisdictions, legal systems and advisers. She works closely with international law firms, private banks, family offices and other professional advisers to assemble the right teams around clients’ needs and deliver seamless end-to-end support tailored to each client’s broader objectives and circumstances.
Elina is also active in the start-up and technology ecosystem, advising founders, executives and investors on structuring and tax matters across the lifecycle of a business, with a particular focus on executive compensation and equity incentive arrangements.
She is recognised as a leading tax and private wealth adviser by a number of international professional directories, including International Tax Review (ITR), Legal 500, Who’s Who Legal and Global Elite. She joined Zepos & Yannopoulos in 2004.
